Braille lettering - thermography - sheet technology

Thermography is the preferred method for the fabrication of Braille on folding cartons and labels.

High relief offers the best tactile reading! This is especially important to the largest consumers of medicine, the elderly. As we get older we lose feeling in our fingers, magnifying the importance of high relief in Braille.

Thermography offers a high relief of 0.4 mm from multiple printing applications. Offset, letterpress, flexo, silk-screen, and digital ink-jet are all applications where high relief is successfully achieved.

Thermography high relief (or raise) is persistent and will not lose its raise during packing or transportation.

Thermography could be applied for web or sheet feed technology. Application is possible on folding cartons as well as labels. Formats could be from single piece up to sheet A0, B0.
